Description

The LWG-2 wedge is built with black polyethylene marine grade plastic and is designed so that when attached to a Transducer Shield® and attached to a surface, it will put the transducer at the correct angle when the boat is in the water. A transducer CANNOT be attached directly to the wedge and must be paired with the appropriate Transducer Shield® for your transducer.

A Transducer Shield® and Wedge assembled together will enable you to attach a transducer to a hull set back/step OR hole shot plate/baffle plate under a jack plate. This wedge is NOT suitable for hole shot plates that are at a 90º angle with the transom (such as Atlas jack plates). For these jack plates, we recommend using an WG-2.5 Wedge or using an L Bracket to attach the Transducer Shield to the side of the jack plate. If your transducer is a 10-1/4″ Lowrance® Structure Scan or Total Scan, use the WG-LSS2 wedge.

Choose the LWG-2 wedge for the following Transducer Shields :

  • Humminbird : TM-HDSi
  • Garmin : TG-D-Vu
  • Lowrance : TS-LSS-1, TS-HDI-2, TS-HDI-3 and TS-HDI-4.

Please note that when the transducer is attached to a set back, hole shot plate or the side of a jackplate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
