Learn About the Successful Leader of FISHNTECH
FISHNTECH’s owner, Gary Gaussiran, started competitive fishing in 1992. Throughout the years, he has gained a wealth of experience, including four years of fishing in invitational tournaments such as Bassmaster’s East and Central Series from 1998 to 2001.
He has won many tournaments in Quebec since he started competing. In 2004, Gary experienced his crowning achievement when he and his partner won back-to-back in Quebec Bassmaster and Pro Bass Canada classics. Currently, he still travels to the USA to compete. He was the highest-ranked Canadian in last year’s Bassmaster Northern Open Series even after completing in only two of the three tournaments.
Gary purchased his first personal fishing device, a Bottom Line portable unit, in the late 1980s. Since then, he has witnessed the evolution of the fishfinder. Today, fishfinders with GPS chartplotters and mapping software are so advanced that even beginners know what to do and where to find fish. These innovations have helped thousands of fishermen succeed in the water.
Since 1993, Gary has been self-employed and making a living as a transport broker. This business is a new beginning for him because he is finally pursuing something that he is passionate about. He is no stranger to the sports fishing industry and is highly knowledgeable about fishfinders.
Gary was a Lowrance Electronics pro staff in 1992 and has also worked with Humminbird in 2008. You can still find him selling fishfinders for Humminbird at either one of the Sportsmen Shows in Montreal or Quebec.
