Traxstech Adjustable Gimbal Mount With Mounting Track

Traxstech offers a wide variety of gimbal mounts for boats, including ones with mounting track on top. Designed to work in conjunction with flush-mounted rod holders, our pre-drilled and tapped gimbal mounts allow for easy installation of Traxstech, Cannon, Big Jon Sports, Scotty, Vector, Walker and Penn brand downriggers. The piece of mounting track on top allows for the attachment of a single rod holder, vertical or horizontal tree, downrigger swivel base, or anything else we offer. When not in use, the gimbal is easily removed to return the boat to its original condition.

If your flush mounts are not parallel with the gunwale, you can use an adjustable gimbal to line up the track to where you want by moving the track in the direction you want. If the flush mount is pointed straight out the back parallel with the gunwale, then the fixed position gimbal will work for you.

We strongly suggest looking under the gunwale and make sure the flush-mount you are using is securely bolted.
