Description

The TS-LSS-2 is for a hole shot plate or set back installation of the 6″ Lowrance® LSS1 Structure Scan transducer. It includes a black powder coated 1/8″ aluminum plate to hold in place and an over-sized marine board wedge with a built in cable management groove to protect and route the cable easily. The wedge is designed to angle the transducer correctly when the boat is in the water. This item does not fit the longer Lowrance® LSS2 Structure Scan transducer. If you have the LSS2 Structure Scan transducer use the Transducer Shield® TS-LSS2-2L.

Please note that the TS-LSS-2 is not suitable for jack plates that have a 90° angle with the transom. For this application, we would recommend either the TS-LSS-1 Transducer Shield® and a WG-2.5 Wedge or the TS-LSS-1 Transducer Shield® and an L Bracket to bolt the assembly to the side of your jack plate.

Please note that when the transducer is attached to a set back, hole shot plate or the side of a jackplate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
