Description

The TM-ONIX-2 is built with high quality aluminum alloy and is black powder coated to withstand harsh environment. The sleek hydrodynamic design reduces collection of debris, keeps the transducer positioned correctly and will not interfere with the transducer signal. It is designed to fit the redesigned Humminbird® ONIX Side Imaging transducers XT 14 20 HDSI T (RD) or XT 14 74 HDSI T (RD). The redesigned transducer measures 6-1/2″ from front to back and 3-1/4″ from side to side, has a lip around the under part of the transducer and has an epoxy filler trough at the back. The transducer number is labelled on the cable near to the plug “XT 14 20 HDSI T (RD)” or “XT 14 74 HDSI T (RD)”. If your transducer number does not end with “(RD)” please purchase the TM-ONIX-1

For trolling motor installation, two straps are required which are not included – please consider purchasing our heavy duty stainless steel black powder coated strap item HDTS-B. For Minnkota 70 lb thrust and below (with prop & skeg on opposite ends) OR Motorguide 12v 54 lb thrust and below, additional custom components are required

With additional accessories this Transducer Shield can easily be installed on a jackplate, hole shot plate, set back or transom.

Please note that when the transducer is attached to a set back, hole shot plate or the side of a jackplate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
