The LB-SM-6/8 L Bracket is built using high quality aluminum alloy, is black powder coated and includes stainless steel hardware. It is designed to fit a 6" or 8" Slidemaster jack plate.
Please remember that a transducer cannot be attached to an L Bracket without a Transducer Shield®.
On Skeeter ZX model boats, the hull turning chines interfere with the side viewing signal. To help this problem it is necessary to add an extension between the L Bracket and Transducer Shield®.
If you have a Bass Cat boat and your jack plate was installed by Bass Cat, a 1.5" extension is required.
Please note that when the transducer is attached to a set back, hole shot plate or the side of a jackplate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
